Chicago Company Reshaping Alumni and Donor Engagement
Chicago, March 15, 2019—To address the changing landscape and needs of higher education fundraising efforts, innovative approaches are essential. ALUMinate, a Chicago based company, provides turnkey solutions to help schools supercharge their alumni engagement and major gift fundraising. The company is pleased to announce innovation partnerships with several major universities and colleges, and the launch of its research consortium to provide thought leadership in the field of alumni and donor engagement.
Co-founded by Chicago community and business leaders Bob Fealy and Esther Choy, ALUMinate combines advanced data technology with on-the-ground experts to help schools find and cultivate top donor prospects. The company’s co-founders have extensive backgrounds in higher education fundraising and, as Fealy notes, “we believe our guiding philosophy, ‘founded by donors for donors,’ is particularly relevant today.”
According to ALUMinate’s research, most colleges and universities see engaging regional alumni as a very important priority, yet they are able to devote less than a quarter of their resources to regional efforts. “It’s a real challenge,” explains Choy, “for an institution to maintain a consistent, relevant presence in cities far from their central campus. But alumni yearn to hear from them.”
ALUMinate welcomes innovation partners Texas A&M University, Colorado College and Kenyon College and encourages others to learn how ALUMinate can help you find and cultivate your regional alumni and friends by contacting Bob Fealy at Bob@ALUMinateUS.com.
ALUMinate’s goal is to mobilize the latent and vast philanthropic power of regional alumni so every student will have access to opportunities. Join our free Research Consortium at ALUMinateUS.com/register.
